A and E and out of hours appointments. Having been very poorly with bronchitis and pneumonia and a chest infection for a couple of weeks. I rang 111 which was a complete joke very scripted and can only deal with one symptom at a time. Spoke to urgent care out of hours for an appt was refused an appt. as not infecting NHS staff with my flu!.Following day went to GP who sent me to a and e. Receptionist very curt and couldnt deal with multiple symptoms when finally saw nurse practitioner! Despite their being a private room for consultations was sat in the main corridor which was overflowing. No privacy, dignity or respect.Told water infection! Sit and wait in waiting area. After saying would like to see a dr put back in waiting area. Eventually saw a lovely GP who was shocked at the diagnosis! Given immediately a nebuliser and oxygen and eventually sent home with steroids as would mean me sat overnight in waiting room for a bed..Theres no excuse at all for the staff I saw being abrupt, rude, sarcastic, uncaring if they didnt want to work in a caring profession get another job!.Outpatients- go there to sit waiting in clinic full of patients to listen to staff discussing your notes in front of the whole clinic.Not very professional!.Too many chiefs and not enough Indians!
