A nice place to visit if your interested in locomotives and the history of Crewe Railway, and how it came into fruition.

Good family day out of the Railway heritage of a massively important Railway town.

I went to the Centre last Sunday, not knowing it was now closed on Sundays for the winter. Two men were in there tidying up. I had a disabled youngster with me and they came over and let us in, and we had a personal tour of a full size train and a journey round the site on the model railway. This was absolutely wonderful and I thank them very much.

Probably the best Real Ale Festival in England. 50 plus beers. Over dozen ciders and very knowledgeable CAMRA volunteers. Brilliant.

If you're interested in railways this is a great place to visit. I particularly liked the APT (Advanced Passenger Train) exhibit. It's also possible to work a real signal box and watch trains on the West Coast Main Line. I also got a nice cup of tea.
