When you ask to change tablets. They say persist with medication even though over 2 years and still no improvement.They don't listen or don't care !!!!
I always make a point of never being late. Rather 20 mins early than 5 mins late. So i had a 12.00 appointment. Get there 11.50ish. Log in and said 19 mins delay. OK busy place can handle that. 45 mins later still waiting. So had to cancel . Would u like to rebook. Erm no thanks.
Been with the surgery for many years. I agree that it takes time to get through on the phone, but we can't place the blame solely on the practice. Rope Green is a very good surgery and the staff are generally friendly and helpful. Our NHS is stretched to it's limits in all areas and the thousands of patients registered at each surgery will only increase. I work for the NHS and am talking to patients all day every day, we can deal with up to 100 calls per day. So before you complain about GP practices, hospitals and in general the NHS, please give a little consideration to the hard working and committed staff who genuinely care about patient welfare.
I have always found the staff very helpful and 99% of the GPs are very good. It is extremely difficult to get through to make an appointment though and I wonder why as someone who has been registered at the practice for years I cannot use the patient app to book appointments.
Great service, got straight through to reception and an appointment on the same day - excellent.
