My insurance broker referred me to Kinderstons for a non fault claim. I had fully comp insurance so was expecting a courtesy whilst my car was being repaired. It turns out I was provided with a hired car with a credit agreement. The third party refused to pay the cost of my "courtesy car" so I ended up in court as a witness for Kinderstons against the third party insurance. If I did not attend the court appearance and give evidence then I was liable for the hire car charges. This insurance claim went on for 18 months and I had to take a day off work to attend court. In future I will always ensure that a third party insurances are happy to the insurance claim before work takes place.
Had the misfortune of dealing with these of idiots twice now, both non fault claims . First time they tried to write my car off and were really forceful in trying to getit sent to the scrappers. Ended up dealing directly with the 3rd party insurer and achieved a good result to get my car back repaired prior to the accident. Second time service no better, slow responses and despite me categorically stating the impact was not significant to move the car and I have zero injuries, I keep getting asked how my injuries are and I should keep an eye on it so I can go get a medical. Having worked in a motor claims department before this company has zero desire to deal with things quickly. Just think I this, they get paid based upon how many services they offer following an accident and by all accounts their fees are very high. I'm considering leaving my insurer just because of the rubbish you have to deal with following an accident with these people Save yourself time and effort, just deal with the accident yourself
I had non fault accident. They picked my car up for repair and organised the cover . Initially very good. It was a small bumper damage which is taking them 2 month to do. I want my car back, customer service poor. Now it us repaired will not be dropping off the car I gave to go 50 miles in my own time to Blackpool to pick it up. Ridiculous I am losing work! I am very disappointed.
Great communication. Great little reliable car. Bit inconvenient that the car had to be returned so soon after the insurance cheque arrived (since that took 4 days for the funds to clear), but that's not a major fault as such. I was luckily able to put a deposit on another car, so not a big deal really. Great service provided. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Great communication from start to finish. Hire car provided matched standard of my car that was damaged in a no fault accident. Every person I dealt with was professional and courteous. Surprised to see negative reviews, I can't fault my experience...
