I phoned Cheshire Audio to see if they could perform a rewire on a Rega/Acos R200 arm because I had just had one done by a Rega 'specialist' who had done a poor job including missing off the locking nut from the tensioner for bottom bearing in the spindle. I Spoke to Philip who informed me that they did not do re-wires but was extremely helpful in discussing how I should go about repairing the arm and offered me the remains of an old R200 arm which they had broken for spares and contained the parts I required. This was posted to me without charge. It is so refreshing to find someone who is more interested in helping to get a classic turntable working again than trying to sell them a new one and I would definitely use Cheshire Audio for any future HiFi purchases.

Cheshire Audio couldnt have been more helpful. Bought a Planar 3 from them which is amazing by the way. Set it up for me so all I had to do was literally plug and play. Also gave me tons of advice on hifi in general and in particular Rega. Thanks a lot mate ! Highly recommended.
