AVOID AT ALL COSTSI recently attempted to buy a car from Grensons that i had found advertised online. After some conversations with their sales executives Ryan and Sam I ultimately negotiated the deal with Scott Chisholm the "Senior Sales Manager" . As the deal was done on the 20th December i paid my deposit and agreed that the car would be delivered after Christmas. On the morning of the 28th December I get a call from Grensons which I assumed would be them arranging delivery of the new car and collection of my trade in vehicle as agreed.... This was sadly not the case and the call turned out to be form "Steve" the sales manager who had returned from Holiday and called me to pull out of the sale...He gave reason that he felt Scott had overvalued my trade in car and he also felt the deal that was done (and agreed via email) was too good and he was not happy with it. He told me he had spoken to the owner who had asked him to call me to tell me this and that if it went through it would "cost him his job". I was not very happy with this and had a discussion with Steve as in fact Scott the supposed "SENIOR sales manager" had actually done the deal in the first place? After a few cross words he went away to speak to the owner and Scott promising to call me back.He called me back around 10 minutes later and said that he had just spoken to the owner and then Scott and "as it transpired" Scott was going to call me later today anyway as they had found a "Fault" with the car and there was now a knocking noise coming from the engine and it would not be going for retail..... During my discussions with Ryan, Sam and Scott they discussed that they had, had this vehicle for some time now and it had been through their workshop with lots of money spent on it etc etc.... AMAZING that during this time they spotted no faults with the vehicle at all, and it just conveniently "popped up" during the 10 minutes after they called me to back out of a sale.... Obviously I cannot prove this is untrue however anyone who was not in fact born yesterday could assume this is a "get out of jail tactic" and doesn't change the fact they pulled out prior to this anyway. This dealer agrees deals and then backs out, gives misinformation and does not do what they say...... Avoid at all costs
Excellent service and always very well looked after.
Really pleased with standard of service we received from both sales and service dept after buying our Suzuki Ignis. Service dept also did a lovely job of cleaning the car both inside and out - thanks very much Grensons.
Had so many problems with another suzuki dealership in stoke where I bought my vitara , I ended up going to Grensons in Crewe to get a major defect sorted .They were polite officiant and within 4 hours of my car going in the defect was found the part ordered And now rectified .I wish I had bought the car from Grensons in the first place am so thrilled and happy with every part of the service I've received from them and really cant rate them highly enough .Neil Glanville
I was served by Steve at Grenson Suzuki while looking at the new 2017 Suzuki Swift. He was informative, non-pushy, happy to let us go for a good test drive and was a pleasure to be served by. I didn't make a purchase in the end, but that was through no fault of theirs.Took off one star as, like several car dealerships I've been to over the years, management came close to crossing the line between assertive and pushy while discussing prices. Could perhaps express their passion in a less forward manner. In any case, I could not fault their generosity.
